Greetings, Gear Heads... I just ordered two Himali Mens Jetsetter Ultra-Vent Button Down shirts. I like these style of shirts for hiking (100% poly), and if it’s windy I usually throw on a fleece vest for warmth. I live in a moderate climate, so I should be able to wear these as an outer layer while hiking in-lieu of a jacket in temperature in the 50s-60s. Has anyone here purchased Himali gear? I know very little about the company except it’s out of Boulder. What do you know/think about their gear? Any experience wearing their products? I think these shirts look good enough to wear to work, too. Thx. himalilife.com/himali-mens-jetsetter-ultra-vent-button-down.htmlRegards, DR

I agree that that’s nicer looking than most “venting” outdoor shirts. But I wish they showed a rear view pic: I’m skeptical that it might have a big vent in the back that screams “hiking shirt” and not “shirt to wear to work.”
it’s a little more than I usually spend on a shirt for streetwear, but if it really goes from outdoor to casual/office, I’d consider buying one.

I’ll let you know what it’s like when it arrives. Fortunately, I did get a discount on it by signing up for their email notifications. It seems like every gear maker gives 10% or 15% off if you sign up via email for their catalogs/newsletters notifications. Regards, DR

I ended up returning the two shirts. Even ordering up the shirts (XL to XX) did not fit, not even close. Sizing is way off. I also did not like the material used for the shirts (paperweight material and did not care for the feel). I’m going to get something from Royal Robbins in-lieu. Regards, DR

I’ve always liked RR stuff. I have several items and they are among my favorites.
