Thanks!
The other glitch in nav systems that I’ve only recently become aware of is unlike cellphones that rely on the data in remote servers, and so is moderately up to date? The vehicle nav system, at least in my Toyota, is a preloaded sd card that, by definition, gets more and more out of date the older the vehicle. I’d noticed a couple year old big reduced access bypass I frequented in Delaware both wasn’t on my 4Runner maps and unlike my expectations, didn’t ever appear as time went on. That’s when I finally poked about and discovered it was card based. Eek. Still the digital systems usually offer a level of detail I don’t find in the usual scales of available paper maps until I get down to the incredible ones like the great Thomas Bros. California atlas. And for a big sweeping cross country trip that’s not a practical solution.
