Hey! What a crowd! I would like to help where I can! My name is NoNo and I am the guy that Kendall (by the way, Kendall is a girl.. she is the one person that I work with that keeps me in line) was referring to when she said that I was out of town! I would really like to be involved here on this blog site but bear with me; I signed up my account just now and I am new to the navigation here but am totally willing to answer any questions about not only SlingFin gear but also anything else out there. We (all us SlingFin monkeys) are all soldiers from many different companies in this industry, most of us are previous Mountain Hardwear and Sierra Designs folks. I have read this thread and I would like to say thanks for bringing up your question daveb! I also did see that you are the new owner of the Copper Spur! congrats on your new purchase! I am very versed with all of Big Anges line, if you find something there you have questions about let me know! My personal # is 530.601.3602 I can also be reached at nono@slingfin.com Where is everyone here? I see that tigger is up in Bend, OR! our lead mountain guide and seasoned veteran lives up there! Robert Link, formerly with Mountain Hardwear is now with and has been since the start of our company in 2010. His climbing resume can be seen on the mountain-link website here: mountain-link.com/about_us/our_guides/Robert_Link/ as well as a blurb we have on our main site here: www.slingfin.com/philosophy.htmlI work closely with Robo and if anyone has any questions regarding the mountaineering end, lemme know and answers will follow! I am in northern California and I am always willing to do "house calls" by that I mean; if you would like to see any of our product and there is the chance that we do not have a dealer near you, I am more than willing to meet up with anyone and give a demo or even loan out a tent for an up-coming adventure! I did see that someone posted a blurb of the gizmodo review, if anyone would like to see that more in depth here is the link to that as well: indefinitelywild.gizmodo.com/slingfin-2lite-review-everest-tent-tech-for-the-backpa-1720668491They did a really great job of comparing the 2Lite to the Big Anges fly creek UL2 and fly creek UL2 platinum. Again any questions I am more than happy to talk, you will find that I am very easy to talk to and have a BIG passion for the outdoors, I am sure we can connect on just about anything! Happy Trails - NoNo

Welcome aboard, Nono, thanks for the intro. Look forward to your participation on this forum, you will clearly have much to contribute. You might consider checking in at the Trailhead Register, which is where new forum members generally introduce themselves.

Trinity! Thanks for helping guide me in becoming a active part of discussions here, I will certainly head over to the Register and give a hello to all! From my browsing around I have already found that there is a good group here, with positive energy and great conversation. I can talk with gear junkies for hours! I hope this message finds you well! -NoNo -cheers By the way, GREAT profile photo! Start'em young and they stay young for life! I have my mother and family to thank for my love to be outdoors!

Tell Kendall I'm sorry about my assumption.
BTW, glad you're here and I hope to learn more about your products.

Hey Dave!
I did.. She told me that it actually happens quite often! So do not feel alone. Thanks for the warm welcome! Do you have a trip in mind your new tent? I see that you have a quote from John Muir as your signature. I like it!
On that note, I am hoping that you find your self sleeping in that copper spur somewhere in Yosemite soon?

I just had a good friend of mine that I've worked with for over 10 years leave the company and move to Crested Butte. We have small hikes lined up for this summer. He's got a condition with his sight that is degenerative and he wants to do some grand canyon exploring next winter.
The one trip I'm most excited about is our return to the Tetons in September. Planing on just a 4-5 day hike there. I love it there!
