Wow, kinda been out of the loop lately taking care of family business half a world away.
So, any meltdowns or cat/dog fights while I was gone? Or do I need to start one of my own?

Thailand
Surprisingly for having a large expat community in Thailand, very few people understand more than a few words of English, unlike in many of the nearby former British colonies. I managed to get by despite my hearing deficit.

Howdy. Please let us know how you feel about beets, kilts and single malt scotch. :(

I worked with a number of Thai college students when we had summer jobs at Zion. If you talked with any of them and they said "Y'all," we taught them that. (hehehe)

Hate beets! Love Brussels sprouts.
I wear a Utilikilt.
I like all sorts of single malt Scotch, but especially heavily peated ones.

What was it like doing that Super Bowl commercial? I assume you made enough from it to stock up on some good scotch.

Well, your avatar, anyway. There seem to be multiple versions of the ad.
This seems to be what ran during the game.
The uncut version. According to this version you probably got more than kibble, unless that's just a euphemism.

Okay, that's a freaky ad, even in the version they actually ran!
Welcome back, Rumi. If required, we could stage a melt-down to make you feel more at home.

We're all thinking of buying mechanical Exo-skeletons to propel us up mountains now. You in?
Glad to see you back Rumi!

that's a freaky ad, even in the version they actually ran! Almost all the SB ads this year were on the very creepy side.

So the Marmot ad is the only controversial thing which happened lately? Yea, it's kinda strange, but don't blame all marmots for that, especially Marmota Olympus.
