How well can you see out of th orange mesh? Does it restrict stargazing? How about daytime lookin out?
Thanks, John

I haven’t used that particular tent, but IMO any fabric, even mesh, greatly reduces star-gazing. Unless I’m in bug-free territory and can skip the tent, I do my star-gazing when I get up to pee.

We've used a Fly Creek, which has the same mesh, for many years. We tried to view the Perseid meteor shower and fireworks in distant valleys from the mosquito free tent. Nah, too obscured. You do see a mottled field of stars if in a dark zone, but it ain't right. Going sans fly does make it seem like cowboy camping, but it isn't quite the same.

I have a Tiger Wall UL3 as my 2p shelter and agree with the comments above, but also feel that black mesh is no different. Stars are just pinpoints of light in the sky, and any mesh will obscure them. The idea of "star gazing" through mesh is a marketing gimmick -- the mesh is for ventilation and bug/critter protection.
