The problem is, you need a chair to go with it!

What's the exchange rate down there in New Mexico these days?

What's the exchange rate down there in New Mexico these days? I'm in Colorado, so it's the good-ole USA. (/sarcasm)

Need help choosing a chair? I have one that works well: I just didn't bother moving it for this (obviously staged) pic. It's one of these: Kijaro Dual Lock ChairIt's much more firm than typical folding chairs, making it possible to do desk work from it, at least for limited periods. My current AirBnB provides a couple of the typical plastic Adirondack-style chairs, which are fine for enjoying a beer, but don't work at all for desk work.

Yah. That’s a point also in favor of those table styles that offer adjustable heights. And yes, even if I were to take “laptop” literally, there’s no room for papers etc. which are vital for most sorts of work.
18” forecast for Cody Wy! Crazy.
(That one does look nice)

Is that snow or ash?

That’s a point also in favor of those table styles that offer adjustable heights This table has three pre-set heights. None of them were exactly right for the Kijaro chair, so I drilled extra holes in the legs for the correct height.

Thought you'd enjoy the fresh air, not to mention the beautiful view.

Thought you'd enjoy the fresh air, not to mention the beautiful view. I have no complaints whatsoever. But the preparations for outdoor work capability have, thus far, been completely superfluous. It's supposed to be above freezing tomorrow afternoon, though!

At least, with those crossbars on the legs, the snow is holding it down so it won't blow away.
Now you just have to worry about it freezing in place.

The problem is, you need a chair to go with it! And an umbrella. For the sun or snow. If ash starts falling, head indoors and check the fire alerts.

And I thought I was bad about not dusting often enough.
