The 107 mile trek from Stevens Pass to Stehekin on the PCT is both beautiful and difficult. I had to deal with some warm temperatures, bugs and some problems taking in enough calories for fuel, but I made it to Stehekin after 12 days on the trail. Unfortunately there was probably 20 miles of overgrown trail with a couple miles of almost bushwhacking around Milk Creek. The Pandemic has not allowed for a lot of trail maintenance. But water and flowers were good. Plenty of Huckleberries along the Agnes River. And Stehekin is functioning somewhat normal. You can view the entire Blog Post at: Stevens Pass to Stehekin

Excellent. Congrats on a major achievement.
I’ve done only the northernmost part of your route...I had come from Lyman Lakes and Cloudy Pass.

Indeed. Upper Lyman Basin, and especially the parkland between there and Lower Lyman Lake, is one of my favorite places ever. Spider Gap, and the ground "recently" given up by the Lyman glacier is awesome but desolate. As you head down the basin into the lush, green parkland (and amazing view of Bonanza), it's just such a great feeling.
One place in that area I never made it to but would love to if I make it back is High Pass and the upper Nepeequa drainage. I imagine the route is more defined now, after many hikers made it the unofficial PCT route back when the trails west of Glacier Peak were wiped out.

My story. I did the PCT in 1983. In October, I did the Glacier Peak section. Fog set in, and I was robbed of views from places like Reflection Pond, Vista Ridge and Kodachrome Peak. So, I went back 2 years later to repeat that section in July. I saw the views from Vista Ridge, and then got fogged in AGAIN and lost all those other views. But, I loved the trail through there.

Back in the late 90's I hiked the Spider Gap/Buck Creek Pass loop. It is one of my favorite hikes ever. I hope to someday do it again.

Back in the late 90's I hiked the Spider Gap/Buck Creek Pass loop. It is one of my favorite hikes ever. I hope to someday do it again. I did that one with my husband and oldest son about 4 years ago. Truly lovely. I also hiked Stehekin to Stevens (well, actually Canada to Stevens) back in 1990. Back then, I did that stretch (using the shuttle up the road from Stehekin) in 7 or 8 days. Couldn’t do that now.
