After earthquake induced landslide (per one of the Thompsons family quoted in a post on the thread). Closed for the season. Debris on Horseshoe Meadows road with more to be determined. Some BIG rocks came down. /?d=n

I think the images are not cooperating with your efforts. At least, not in my browser.

Looks okay on both my iPhone and MacBook (so mobile SAFARI and desktop SAFARI). They're links to FB threads. Inyo County Sheriff's, Mt. Whitney and Lonepine Campgrouds and Doug Thompson.

Bizarre. The crossplatform weirdness of the internet continues to defy logic. On a Chromebook and an iMac I see nothing but a little tag of code... maybe I'll just blame Comcast.

The crossplatform weirdness of the internet continues to defy logic. Oh, the logic is there. They want internet life to be miserable for you until and unless you sign up for their "service," use their trojan horse tools, and submit to their surveillance without reservation and irreversibly.

The iMac is a bit weird, I'd expect that to behave like my MacBook. You know when I concentrate there's a pause as the page loads where I get a glimpse of what you're seeing.

I can see the pictures. I was afraid you were saying some unnamed authoritarian decided to shut the backpacker's camp because we're not worthy. Glad that's not the case.

At this point it's more like, "what backpacker's camp?" It's a bouldering paradise now. I wonder if they're going to bring in the dynamite once the aftershocks stop?

If past history with the Curry Village rockfall zone is any sort of precedent they might relocate the backpackers camp.

As far a quakes, the Tonopah temblor has been the overachiever since the Ridgecrest one. (Four days til the one year anniversary of the foreshock.)
