Does anyone have tips for hikes or other points of interest (not cities) along the Loneliest Road and then North towards Elko along the Lincoln Highway. I found the best peaks like Arc Dome and the Toiyabe Crest trail, Mt Jefferson, Mount Moriah , Great Basin National Park, and a bunch of other ones up by Elko. I was wondering if anyone knew of spots for wildflowers, canyons or other interesting hikes that are not peaks.

The Ruby Mountains near Elko, specifically Lamoille Canyon. If you're in Elko, drive about 30 miles south into Lamoille Canyon. You can drive to the end of the road and find several hiking trails. There is day hiking and backpacking. There are some other trailheads along the road in Lamoille Canyon before reaching the end of the road.
