Come on, folks. Lets not let sentimentality get the better of us. The park service and the bear should be cited: no hard hat, no high visibility vest, no hard toe boots. We've got to maintain safety standards.

Good one, Jer!
I have to say that the thing that killed me was that extra little nudge the bear gave to put the cone in exactly the right spot :D

I'm wondering if bears could be trained to keep people out of parks when they become overcrowded, especially now. Smokey may have to be tasked for this.

rebeccad , perhaps now we need to mobilize home sewers to make Smokey hats for the bears to be recruited for park entrances? Although I wouldn't want to see bears sacrifice their independent and wild nature, it might be "all hands (or all paws?) on deck" for a while. Better idea might be to train the bears to keep people from congregating. That would probably be more effective than the stay at home orders.

I am confused by this initially, nearly every time I see it. Are we referring to sewage, or seamstresses?

zeke , looks like I really goofed up (hanging head in embarrassment ). Should have been seamstresses. That's what happens when I don't have my morning chocolate. Shall I add this to the out of context thread or would you like to do that?

What is a male seamstress called? Seamster? Like Teamster? Tailor? But that implies the ability to actually make clothing fit a body.
