Before I proposed to my fiancé I told myself that it needs to be in a memorable place. It was and it ended up being in Glacier Natl park on a bridge that went over the Belly River at sunset of course. Now I'm wanting to seal the deal in another special place but much closer to home. Since I'm an unofficial 900 miler and I use to spend every weekend in the park, I cant think of a better place than Myrtle Point, on Leconte. I did speak with someone in this matter via "high on Leconte" which is a daily post to give trail conditions and weather data. He directed me on checking out 'A walk in the woods' which help with shuttles and guided hikes. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

congratulations!
can't help you with the pastor, but have you heard about the Appalachian Clubhouse at Elkmont? you could have a reception in the park too.

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. I distinctly recall reading a "trail report" complete with photos about a wedding on Leconte but can't recall whether it was on this forum or elsewhere. So a quick search brought up this wedding www.knoxnews.com/entertainment/pop-culture/couple-ties-the-knot-atop-leconte-ep-408152303-358648671.html complete with a hiking minister from Dollywood.I don't think that was the specific wedding I recall but they did say they got the idea from having attended a similar wedding on Mt Leconte so you will probably get more info/ideas with a more thorough search.
