I just got off the phone with a U.S. Primus representative. (A nice kid named Clay). I was surprised to learn that Primus no longer provides fuel line replacements or parts for their Himalaya Multifuel or Varifuel (gas and liquid fuel versions) camp stoves. I spent a lot of money on this stove and would like to keep using it. I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

Initial observation: There are a lot of variations on the Primus fuel lines and pumps. (ref classiccampstoves.com/threads/primus-himalaya-series-fuel-pumps.22603/) I wish I had one of those ancient versions with the pump and fuel line connection which inserts into the block on the top of the pump, because I'm curious about whether or not you could fiddle with the hose/pump connection to allow use of a more recent pump/fuel line system. (For instance, is the connector on the fuel line at the stove the same size as the connector on the newer stoves which do have a 2nd valve?). There might be more technical reasons why this "exchange" wouldn't be possible, but I have no idea, since I don't have direct knowledge of any of the older stoves. Your picture doesn't let me see what the end of the fuel line is like, but I'm guessing it's the old "varifuel style" insertion connector, given that the fuel valve is on the pump itself.

The part they needed wouldn’t have been a collectible “new in box” sort of item so wouldn’t have that premium.
