Purchasers will get cold heads, or at least cold ears. Too much gap in the hood. Fabric slopes from the shoulder to the top of the head, making way too much air to heat up.

Sorry, Christmas has passed. Keep it on your list for next year.
"Even the draw cords are built for survival"
"Two large pockets fit flint axes or satellite phones"
Need to add the last one to the entry quiz - "If you could only take one item on a trip, would you choose a flint axe or a satellite phone?"

The axe. The battery in the axe has better longevity thus less opportunity for failure.

Shoulda waited for the sales after the holidays. Clearance sales are SO much better than Black Friday sales.
On a related note, it looks like I'll be hiking in our typical crappy "wintry mix" on Saturday if anyone wants to send me one of those jackets for a field test.
Including a flint axe is optional, but I might end up off trail and 1/2 mile from a road, in which case a flint axe or BAK could be my only hope for survival.

All fun aside, I bet they sell a ton of them. Even more of a wealth statement for the Aspen/Chamonix set than Arctyrex.

I bought one, but returned it. The petroglyph they used for the product tag dug into my neck. I lent it to a friend who is allergic to nuts, he buttoned up and almost died. Worst of all, the cave paintings clashed with my scarf.

Bonus points for "military grade paracord" as if that's even a Thing(tm). Or remotely special.
