I'm trying to feel the warmth of the sun, but not having as much success as you are. Is this an invitation to join you?

17 this morning, and snow on the ground. No soaking up the rays in shorts here. However... December 27 is packing up the RV and heading to Arizona for the winter. I am too old for dealing with that white crap.

I took rebeccad and her hubby on a 4 day / 3 night kayaking trip into the 10,000 Islands Wildlife preserve, just north of Everglades national park. We had a great time, and were fortunate to see lots of wildlife: dolphins daily, a small shark cruising the shallows for food, a loggerhead turtle, raccoons foraging in the low tide flats, and lots of birds.

It did have a cell connection, but I waited to post until we were back at Zeke's house and I had a real computer. Danged if I could remember how to post a photo from my phone.

I like the idea of seeing dolphins. They're so fascinating.

And a grand time was had by all! No wonder you did not comment on the header image changes. A wee bit jealous.

Meriam Webster: Definition of snook (Entry 1 of 2) 1: a large vigorous bony fish (Centropomus undecimalis of the family Centropomidae) of coastal and brackish waters of the southern U.S. to Brazil that is an important food and sport fish 2: any of various marine fishes of the same family as the snook

You outlasted both of them, eh? I see the paddle shaft is bent from fending off barracuda, and yet the hat and sunglasses aren't askew. Looks staged to me.
