Stunning photos; I especially like the rapids. Was that your group in the raft or others?
And thanks for sharing. The sun is so welcome and warming now that we're segueing into winter. It's nice to think of the warmth instead of the wind on one's back.

The river runners consisted of four boats. They were seasonal employees of Grand Teton Lodge and an assortment of professional River guides from Wyoming and Montana. The evening and morning I spent with them was like spending a backcountry night at the St. Regis. In the morning I bid them adou and positioned myself at the rapid to watch them come by. Tried to posts video but couldn’t sort it out.

Currently putting together a permit that revisits Monument , Granite Rapids, Cedar Spring so very much enjoyed. We've never seen below 20 at the rim or 50 at the river for lows, it's what we travel to the GC for, to get out of the end of winter. We have flirted with the century mark in the first week of April. We carry very little for warm sleep gear, we backpack all winter, usually in snow, to keep our legs in shape and look forward to downsizing. The one time we started out with micro-spikes we had them off within a mile. Great walk and report, thanks! Someday we'll have to try this time of year.
