In case anyone is interested, It is very busy at the trailheads up Bishop Creek. People have lost their minds parking up at South Lake. They are even parking on the road pavement. Since I helped a hiking party out, who bailed on their South-North Lake loop hike, to retrieve their car, I saw that a lot of folks were parked out of Sabrina. North Lake was relatively normal.
As for the high country...think August. Flowers and mosquitos. Still a lot of water too.

When we hiked out from Duck Lake Sunday, there were still many hikers and backpackers moving up the trail from the Coldwater Trailhead. Although there are obviously less out versus the end of August given school etc, this 2019 summer after the big snow pack, there are obviously fair numbers of people that moved out their summer high country plans into September.

Onion Valley wasn't much better a week ago. Full lot and cars a 1/4 mile down the road.
