I bet few here have any idea how large earthworms can get. In 1969, in Vietnam, digging a foxhole, I found an earthworm around as long as I am, about six feet. Later in the year, I discovered they are not rare. Many others were discovered between five and six feet long. But many, many years later, when the web already existed, I thought about it and I decided to see how large they can get. The five and six footers I saw in Vietnam were a little on the small side. See here.-Don- Reno, NV

I thought I remembered them being longer than ten feet in some other parts of the world. So I just did another search, see here.-Don- Auburn, CA
