This was taken on Isle Royale two summers ago. I'm not up on my spiders but I've been told it's a Wolf spider.

Looks very similar to one I took a shower with at camp last summer. I politely told it to stay in its little corner and we'd have no issues. It listened. It was a good spider. I saw another one that had all its babies on its back. That was pretty freaky. I'll have to see if I still have that picture.

Yep. That's about the size. It was up in the corner near the ceiling. I'm used to showering with spiders when camping, but that was the biggest I ever shared the shower with. You can bet my eyes were glued to it the whole time!

Thanks! I'm not sure if I'll ever get close enough to a spider this big to make some of the identifiers they point out but it does appear to be a Wolf spider.

My wife came running into our bedroom nekkid one morning because of one of these. He was in the shower and she didn't want to share. I've never been so disappointed.

I belive this is called a 'leaf insect' I'm not really sure why. And Owl Butterfly

During my Sunday morning walk around the yard I noticed our sweet corn patch was buzzing. Bees were hard at work.

Look closely to see a caterpillar hiding in there. If you look closely, you'll see a caterpillar hiding here too. As big as my tent fly seam. Feeling sluggish that morning.

I posted this on the random photo thread but thought it would be good here also. I'm gonna try a bit earlier tonight and see if I can make the picture a little brighter.
