We are a diverse community of hikers with all kinds of gear. Who's to say that an ATV with a back hoe and sharks is inappropriate?

Sharks with lasers, just in case you run into any illegal aliens.

you run into any illegal aliens. Especially, illegal aliens that travel 28 million light years to test out their anal probes.

I recommend keeping your dogs off leash so they adequately protect you, and pull a trailer behind your ATV so you can minimize your impact, and carry more gear in the process. In order to protect yourself from the wildlife, carry a variety of weapons so that you can protect properly. pistol for mosquitoes, shotgun for anything outside your tent at night, elephant gun for...well you know, elephants, and some sort of automatic weapon for people. To be extra safe, bring a stereo...a big one to ward off anything not taken care of by the guns. If you drag bait behind your ATV, you can safely shoot them as they follow behind you.

Tow one of these behind your trailer being pulled by the camper being pulled behind the ATV:

An alternative is a Saint Bernard with a cask of whiskey. Agreed. More meat for when the survival mode kicks in (Dane is too lean anyway) and the whiskey is a bonus supplement to the stash kept in the ATV trailer.

You're assuming that you'll eat the dog. Could be the other way around.

You're assuming that you'll eat the dog. Could be the other way around. But I get to drink the whiskey first?

Nice!! A friend of mine has a 4 wheel Pinzgauer. The 6 wheel would make a nice backcountry camper.

I think the Saint Bernard carries it for the Great Dane to wash you down with. So that's probably a "No."

This one belongs to one of my AZ hiking buddies who now lives in Colorado Springs I see nothing wrong with that. He's been working on it for a couple years. When he's done it will sleep four.
