Staph infection made another appearance, but much less than before and the areas are healing well. I'm thinking by bike helmet straps can be contributing either directly or indirectly, so no bike this week.
M: Walk around a factory during work. PT in the evening. Tu: Trail run 1.5 miles with my son. It was his first trail run and he did great. W: Daughter's XC meet, so nothing during the day. A few sets of dumbbell exercises in the evening. Th: Trail run 5 miles with the dog through two thunderstorms. F: Daughter's XC meet, so nothing during the day. A few sets of dumbbell exercises in the evening. Sa: Surprise visit from in-laws. Push mow lawn after they leave. Short workout at gym. Su: 7.5-mile trail run over rugged terrain. A good test for my hamstring and it passed with flying colors. Moderate to low-intensity activity the remainder of the day (yard projects). 4,000 calories burned.

M: Ride 17 miles round-trip to/from PT (my last session!). Tu: Bike commute 21 miles. W: Daughter's XC meet, so nothing. Th: Run 1.5 miles w/ son. F: Bike commute 19 miles. Sa: Push mow lawn and other light activities (3,500 calories burned). Su: 10-mile trail run over rugged terrain with difficult footing.
Weight is up 10 pounds since June 1, yet has remained stable since late July. Although bodyfat has also remained the same, I was hoping to lose some pounds during the summer knowing that I tend to gain during the winter. And carrying "extra" weight certainly doesn't help with the hilly trail runs.

I missed the last couple week's postings, so I'll start there.
Week of 9/23 M: Rest Tu:Run 2.1 miles W: Rest Th: Run 1.3 miles F: Run 3.5 miles Sa: Run 2.5 miles Su: Run 2.8 miles
Week of 9/30 M: Rest / Work late Tu: Rest / Work late W: Just work late.... it's no longer rest at this point Th: Work late >: | F: Finally, run a mere 1.3 miles Sa: Walked dogs about 1 mile Su: Hot Chocolate 15k race
Followup to race. OUCH! I held a faster (for me) pace since I've been back running. I am paying for it. My training has not been consistent, so I only have myself to blame. But OUCH!
So, now I'm paying for it with sore muscles and issues with tendons behind my right knee. Hoping the tendon issue is temporary and I didn't hurt myself. Hopefully next week looks better and I can resume a normal training schedule and NOT fall off the wagon, again.

So sore, I took the elevator at work I literally LOL'd! You know it's bad when you need to hang on to something to get off the toilet. That'll learn me to not schlep on training anymore.
