I'm thinking about trying an app (iPhone) for strength-training workouts. Something that would help me create workout routines, keep track of weight, reps, sets, as well as show how to perform the exercises. Do you use something like this? And which ones have you tried? Or does everyone else just have a better memory than I do?! (totally within the realm of possibility ...)

I'm old school. I've had a copy of this since early high school (1980s): I do use apps to track my trail runs, though (Strava, Nike+).

I use FitNotes. It has a lot of good built-in graphing and analysis. It's excellent for weights, but weaker on cardio.

Well, I'm not sure I want to be carrying that around the gym ... (plus it would look ridiculous with all my neon post-it page markers!) I use Runkeeper for tracking walking, hiking and running, and I'll be looking at FitNotes.
