I unexpectedly have the month of May off work, so I want to do a backcountry backpacking trip for a week, starting early to mid May.
Who wants to plan a trip with me? I am willing to fly anywhere in Canada and US.
I am experienced at backcountry backpacking. I led backpacking trips in the Atlas Mtns, a packrafting trip through Escalante Canyon, and numerous canoe and kayak trips in Ontario.
I am easy to get along with and enjoy both easy slow pace backpacking and faster backpacking (I'm in decent shape).
Cheers! Jay

As soon as Tioga Pass opens, (could be this week?), will be doing my yearly warm-up hike, going Porcupine Flat (Yosemite off 120) down to the Valley via Yosemite Falls trail, 3 - 4 days, stay Valley BP, take a art class in the Valley, hitch back up to Tuolumne. Probably May 14th to start out. Come on out and I'll show you Yosemite.
