No Granola. That slog up West Maroon Pass is one of the reasons I always recommend counter-clockwise for the 4-Pass Loop. 3 out of 4 of those passes are easier going counter-clockwise. Only 1 is harder going that way. And, it's set up better for campsites. I was in pretty good shape back then. I could have done that loop as a day hike.
