Some. 🎆 Phase Change 💥from Lagunitas “One-Hitter” Line IPAs, meaning I shouldn’t be standing after drinking this tallboy IPA .. It was good, but not that powerful as I’m still on the planet..

Happy National Beer Day! I celebrated by splitting a Toppling Goliath Psuedo Sue pale ale.

No drinkin' on Cinco de Mayo Taco Tuesday?
Already have consumed a Modelo Negra. An IPA is in the cards while preparing my coleslaw for our barbecued shrimp tacos.

I’ve been working on a case of kinda generi organic IPA, but that work’s done. Another Sierra Nevada IPA is ElectroTropical at 6.03% ABV. Good IPA but the “juicy” was a tad less hoppy than a typical IPA.

Kinda forgot it was Cinco de Mayo. We had taco night on Monday (as usual--we're just non-conformists!). No beer, but I had a glass of wine with dinner.

Cinco de Mayo I had a huge plate of nachos, here at the house, and about 4 oz of Don Julio Anejo. Nachos consisted of chips, taco seasoned ground beef, onion, jalapenos, black olives, cheese, and a sprinkling of crushed red peppers. My wife had no peppers at all, and no olives on her's. She did add some sour cream and salsa that I chose not to have.

I’ve had bad luck with fruity beers but tried a bit of Schoppenhofer Grapefruit Hef bier was actually pretty good (needed that zing to get the taste of desert out of my mouth after a 4 day Memorial Day trip). Didn’t get an action shot so an internet grab will need to suffice.

This has been one of my go-tos this spring/summer It's not a sour, but the bit of tartness and earthiness from the Brett really balances the sweetness of the orange.
