This is a week long trip into Southwest Colorado's San Juan Mountains. The Weminuche Wilderness. I started at 30 Mile Trailhead, and hiked over to Chicago Basin. My camera broke there, and so the videos end there, but I hiked back thru some fun storms to complete the trip. This is one of 2 week long trips I did this fall in the San Juans. I have yet to make a second video, where I traverse from Chicago Basin north thru the Needle Mountains to Elk Creek, and loop back to Vallecito Creek trailhead. I saw a few moose on this trip, and had some nice fall colors. Much wilder and louder than I was expecting.

So far just watched the short version. If you were solo you put a lot of work into it. And you can move. TFPU! The fires seemed a bit large though for such an obviously well loved trail, but who am I to say. Excellent TR.
