Find the New Way to Add an Image to a Post: It's way easier than the steps to use Flickr. It is truly simple. Create a new post or use either REPLY or Quick Reply, see Add Image to Post. You get a window to select the photo from your desktop. Drag one to the window or use the link to browse. Pasting doesn't work!) Click Upload to add your message and there it is. It does not get loaded to this forum's storage, It gets added to imgBB.com and costs us nothing. In addition, check out WebResizer.com, a fast free Photoshop-like service. It does everything to fix a photo, online. Resize, crop, adjust color, add a frame, and more. Upload a photo, choose the work to be done, hit the button and then download the fixed version. It has a different extension so you can recognize it on your desktop. Of course your original is also on the desktop, unchanged.
Edit 5/20/2023: For some reason the Add Image to Post button is currently only showing up when you use REPLY, not Quick Reply (or you can find it when you edit a post).

he recurring desire to punch photobucket in the face was chipping away at my karma. LOL! Most of us have given up on them, due to having to pay if you want to do external links. Flikr is better in that sense (and doesn't seem to slow down my computer the way PB did), but I like not having to upload pictures to anything in order to post here!

Just a note here: if you are working on a phone/mobile device, you will need to select the *desktop version* in order to get access to the "Add image" option. Sadly, adding plug-ins to the mobile version is out of our control, so we can't say when that might change.

Sadly, adding plug-ins to the mobile version is out of our control, so we can't say when that might change. This is still true. If you scroll to the very bottom of the page/screen you will see a link to switch to the desktop version. It's pretty much impossible to do much in that mode but compose a post and add a picture, though, so note the spot so you can scroll back down later and switch back to mobile version.

Is something different here for everybody or is it me? My desktop version no longer has an add image button?
edit to add that the quick reply mode doesn’t have the add image post anymore, but the reply button still does.
