Last night I ended up taking a double shot of Nyquil in an attempt to feel well enough to sleep. Let's see how the cold is progressing tonight because I may end up with nothing more powerful than a cup of peppermint tea.

Nothing wrong with peppermint tea. That's usually my nightcap even when I'm not sick. But like you, Nyquil has been my nightcap earlier this week. Feeling much better now, so it will be wine tonight. Happy hour may start early.

Nothing wrong with peppermint tea. That's usually my nightcap even when I'm not sick. It's my favorite tea in the evenings on the trail. Still not feeling up to snuff and the middle kid told me when I picked him up from school he wants to go fishing with me tomorrow. So alcohol is probably not happening tonight.

In this case, it's the calm after the storm of my day. It's really good. Not at all what I expected.

I've been out of town and (perhaps related) I've lost track of my days. If it's Friday, though, I had a Pomegranate Cosmo. (If it's Thursday, I had a margarita. )

On the peppermint tea bandwagon tonight, with a smidgen of honey.

Fine, its Saturday, but I'm sharing. Had a lovely dinner of kugelis (a traditional Lithuanian dish) washed down with a bottle of Švyturys Ekstra.

It's Friday eve AND St. Patrick's Day. I was wanting a Guinness, but my sinuses are hating me, and beer would make it worse tonight, so whiskey it is! Jameson's, of course.

Heading done to the local brewery, Angry Hanks, for some "Anger Mangement" ale. Celebrating the little snow that finally fell today. First moisture in a more than a month.

I often buy beer for the name or label. It's always nice when it turns out to actually taste good too.

As I mentioned in another thread I'm raising a glass of Jameson to my friend's shade. I'd be honored if you shared a toast to John with me.

So sorry for the loss of your friend. I did see your other post. Great song!

It's Friday Eve, and it's National Beer Drinking Day! Be sure to celebrate this national holiday with your favorite brew!

I have some Dry Dock Stout left in my growler at home, so that will do for me.
