Hmmm… Well for four months of the year we do have to get out early but there is nothing like a desert morning. Then there are the sky islands where we can drive to high elevations and cool pines in 45 minutes. Try than in flat-as-a-pancake Florida. It does have a plethora of buggy, snake infested swamps and hordes of people that inhabiting all livable terrain. I did enjoy swimming in the Gulf Stream though. We hike here year round through the many life zones, canyons and mountains and autumn/winter/spring a long, temperate season is coming up next in several weeks. We did swim in the unheated pool in southern Florida on Christmas Day but we’ll do that here in the lower canyon pools too. |
