I'd like to make jerky, mainly because the kinds of foavors I prefer aren't commercially available, and most brands are too sweet and not salty enough.
I'm Filipina, so fish sauce is a big part of my diet, and if you've never marinated beef or pork in fish sauce and then grilled it, you should try it.
Serve with a dipping sauce of fish sauce, lime juice or vinegar, and brown sugar to which you can add garlic, lemongrass, hot pepper, ginger, whatever you like.
Using fish sauce to make jerky would be pretty awesome.
